October Goals

I'll start off by saying that this post may be more for myself than anyone else. Although there are only three weeks left in October (not even half way there folks!) I still want to put together a list of my October goals. I follow a number of bloggers and Victoria posts her monthly goals like clock work. It holds her accountable and I would like to follow in her footsteps. I still have my New Years resolutions in a note on my phone and have been working hard to cross things off. 

I want to drill down on a monthly basis to strive towards achieving those New Years goals and even add some goals that are attainable in just one month. 

October Goals:
  • Stop Snacking Before and After Dinner I nibble on things here and there as I cook and I know those empty calories add up! Then I nibble after I have my dessert, right as I go to bed. So unneeded!
  • Lose 2 Pounds - No explanation for this one. It just needs to happen. The 2AM pizza and extra beer needs see its way out.
  • Switch My Gym "Off" Days to Saturdays - After a long week, the last thing I want to do is wake up on a Saturday and hit the gym. Sundays are far more slow and quiet and I like to start the week off on a good note.
  • Come in Under My Personal Budget by $100 - The last Sunday of every month, Justin and I sit down and make our next month's budget. We talk about plans, things we need or want, and variable expenses. We each get a "personal" budget. This month I really want to not spend my entire personal budget because I really don't need much of anything this month. 
  • Clean the House - I usually do a full house clean (baseboards, washing the floors by hand, dusting, etc) every 2 weeks. Well these past few weeks have been full of entertaining and fun events, so I just have not gotten around to it!
On the first of next month, I will have new goals and see where I fell with these current goals!
