Five on Friday

Happy Friday! I had a post ready to go live yesterday, but just didn't think it was a great time to post as we find our country going through so many different emotions. Moving right along though, it's Friday and that means weekend plans and relaxation!

Last night some coworkers and I went to the Browns vs. Ravens game. We left straight from work to tailgate and join in some comradery. I've said before that my husband is a Dolphins fan so of course 99% of my football attire is Miami Dolphins. I do own one Ravens sweatshirt for times like these though!

As the holidays quickly approach, I am getting more and more excited to decorate! This time of year is extra special because it is the last couple months of having Justin around before he starts working very long hours and usually 6-7 days a week. He is an auditor and the early months of the year are his busy season.

I bought some things from Magnolia Market this week to add to my holiday decor and can't wait to break it all out in two weeks!

Last week I mentioned going to an annual bonfire. This year was a little warmer than usual and the fire was even bigger! It was a really great time.

This season gets me craving all.the.comfort.food. I made veggie pasta with bolognese sauce last Friday and it totally hit the spot. This weekend I'm hoping to make homemade creamy chicken noodle soup. During the week I am very strict with my food choices, but on weekends I like to indulge in one or two "cheat" meals. Send good cheat meal recipes my way please!

I am part of the "Fun Committee" at work and plan the annual holiday party and other events through out the year. In the past, we have held the holiday party at our owner's home. This year we wanted the party to be held somewhere that would require no stress or extra work for any employees. We sent out the invites this week and I LOVE the one we chose. You can find them here
